Crew 2840 is a high-adventure program for teens who want to push themselves with challenging outdoor experiences. We are a coed program geared toward older youth who are ready to embrace the most amazing adventures, taking on the wild with confidence and grit.
Scouting America’s high adventure bases represent the pinnacle of outdoor achievement: the rugged mountain treks of Philmont Scout Ranch, the remote canoe wilderness of Northern Tier, the breathtaking sailing and underwater exploration at Sea Base, and the world-class action sports at Summit Bechtel Reserve. Crew 2840 prepares youth to master the critical skills needed to take on these elite treks and expeditions with excellence.
